t sounds like you're in a really tough spot. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for companies to hire people into new roles without giving them the resources they need to succeed. The best thing you can do is start looking for a new role in another agency where you will have more support and resources, as well as opportunities that make better use of your skillset. Also, having a few months of experience at your current agency could be beneficial in the long run, it shows that you are willing to take on challenging roles and persist even when faced with obstacles. Good luck!
Hi! It’s understandable that you would want to move on so soon. While there is no easy answer to this dilemma, I would suggest reaching out to other professionals in the field or networking groups to get an idea of what other positions may be available. Additionally, make sure you spend time preparing your resume and brushing up on your skillset.
Looking for a new position can be stressful when you don't have much time under your belt at the current agency but it's not impossible. Consider seeking out opportunities with agencies that are looking for someone with the exact experience you have. You can also look into job boards specifically for marketing & advertising roles or use LinkedIn's job searching feature as well as other social media sites such as Twitter & Facebook. Make sure your resume is tailored towards the type of role you are looking for and take time to update your skillset where necessary. Best of luck!
Sometimes when a position is newly created you will have to blaze a trail. You have to be proactive and ask questions and take initiative to establish your role.. It’s tough but it’s like that sometimes.
