Can anyone explain the difference between PWC SDC, PWC AC and PWC India?

I am trying to get into PWC. here are a few things I have heard so far. Is this fairly accurate?

1. PwC AC is offshore counterpart of PwC US. Good salary. No travel opportunities. Average yearly hike ~10% Mostly technical work.
2 PwC India is a pure consulting firm. Salary better than PwC AC. client facing work. Can grow as a management consultant. Great Travel opportunities.

BCG or MBB folks, got a call from the recruiter today that the outcome of decision round and calibration call today was positive and the lead partner will give me a call on Monday to discuss with me on the role and offer directly by himself. I joined on 28th November and was told that the payroll team will contact me before 15th for payroll setup.

I have opened a new salary account with icici for gds but still have not been contacted by payroll team.

Will I get salary this month or will it be carried over to next month as my payroll is not setup and in orientation it was told that the cutoff date is 15th of every month.
