Hi, I am in the process of joining Infosys Consulting (IC) in a few months. My BGV is currently in process. I have been asked by the HR to open a salary a/c with ICICI or Axis. Are we supposed to only have an a/c with either of them? Why can't I use my current salary a/c with an another bank? Can someone confirm?

I just got an offer from a startup in India putting my total comp to 40LPA(incl. vested stocks work 8kUSD and I also have an offer from a big 4 in the London for 65250GBP + benefits.

Any thoughts on comparing the two options?

Qualified Dividends: I’m expecting $650-$750 qualified dividend in 2021. Salary and base about $250 total. Questions: what tax rate will the qualified dividend be taxed at? The 15% or 20%? Also, since it’s technically a long term gain, do I have to pay an state and local on the income? Been reading for a bit and I can’t seem to find a clear answer. Thanks fishies!

2nd year junior attorney applying to new positions in the Southern California area. Every firm that’s called me to interview are smaller firms with salary ranges of 80-90k. Conflicted between both as I believe Cisco has a better brand value and great company to work for. But the offer from Verizon is competitive.
