Hi! I am trying to help someone with their bookkeeping and get caught up on their taxes. They have not filed taxes or tracked any receipts, expenses, income etc for 2-3 years. They’ve used QuickBooks only for some jobs maybe 50-60%. It’s a mobile mechanic business. Any tips on where to start! Or bookkeeping systems you recommend?

So investing 12K every month in market. My worry is with that rate - it will take us 12-14 months to move the extra 75-80K mentioned above. However do not want to make a bulk move. Seeking feedback on GAP insurance. I had a family member who purchased a car in June or July. They were in an accident last week and it sounds like the car will be declared a total loss. Car was $35k, $7k down, finance $28k. Gap insurance is through lender, not auto insurer.
