Hi I got a job offer after 4 rounds of interviews as a mid level designer. I come from a different country so the experience in the UK is as good as zero. However in my career I have worked for more than 12 years. The company offered all the benefits and pay but in a FTC for 3 months only. They said they loved my work and me especially, only need to figure out if I can work in this country with clients with different requirements. Is this fine or is there something I’m not clearly seeing?

I have a business idea in the VR/AR space utilizing AI. However, I lack skill sets to evaluate viability or to create an MVP. Neither do I have a network to tap into.

My plan is taking classes to deepen my knowledge while joining and actively participating in communities to find collaborators.

My dilemma:

I'm at a LMM investment bank. Can get crazy sometimes, but otherwise chill. Typically done around 7-9 pm, had maybe three 1 am nights. Haven't worked a weekend in over a month. Fridays almost always done at 5 pm.
