I joined my current organization in Chennai, for just 3.4 LPA as a fresher and I have signed a bond agreement to work for 3 years with breakage amount of 2 Lakhs. Because I desperately wanted to a Software Engineer job and Mechanical Engineering is my background.

They didn't gave my first year appraisal, now it's been 2 years here now they are promissing a total of 4.7 to 5 LPA to me.
I got a offer with 7.4 LPA in Bengaluru.

I’m an SE who works 2 AE’s, and from looking at the market am on the bottom end of the pay scale. The company I work for has many different products/services (80+), so they wanted SEs to take on a local “SME” role in a specific area, to support other members of the team.

This role has ramped up quite a bit recently, and people have been coming to me for help with their deals (overviews, demos, POCs) which is increasing my workload.
