Hi! I have recently started working with a SaaS based company as a program coordinator co-op. I graduated last month and I am actively looking to get a full-time job soon. My current co-op ends in mid december and at my current company there isn’t any operations/program/project mngmt teams as of now. While my manager often indirectly hints of future opportunities in the company, he also keeps asking me to come up with interests in other departments of the company. I am not sure what this means?!

Had a "haha" moment. I had been dealing with a client for months and they were somewhat satisfied, if a little bit exigent with their demands. My boss told me I was screwing things up, decided to take the partnership upon themselves, and a week after, this client cut ties with us.

I currently work as a civil engineer/project manager for a county government. I recently applied to a private consulting firm and they are now working on an offer package to send over.

While I'd like to jump to the private side for several reasons (higher salary my #1), with the current macro economic uncertainties, I have some concern making the switch from a (generally) stable government job to a less stable (?) private company. Is there anything I can do when negotiating to mitigate this?

Hi everyone! I'll take any tips and advice on how to get a job as a Project Manager/Product Manager without experience. I have a BBA in Marketing and Management and 8 years of experience in hearing aid sales, where I've gained nothing useful enough to transition to another field (at least I don't think so). Are these certificate courses in Product/Project Management any good? Are there jobs out there where I can get started? So far, the jobs I've seen online require a lot of experience.

Hello Deloitte 🐠! I have back to back to back interviews this week for a position in the SAP practice. The first interview is a skills interview which makes sense. The second is a business case which does not make sense to me considering the job role is for implementations. Are they going to give me a sample client/project and ask me to give a detailed breakdown phase by phase?

I have 2 opportunities on hand. One as a FTE in a named company in traditional project management role and other with workday implementation partner as engagement manager. Benefits of FTE are great and there is a promise of great WLB. My heart is into workday role. I have MBA HR and have 8 years of PM/ Technology implementation experience. No WD experience. I feel WD role marries my edu and exp. FTE role offers $5K more on base. How is growth potential in workday ecosystem? What would you pick?

How can you support moody, passive-aggressive clients and not let it impact your mental health? I understand that managing the relationship is largely our job in account servicing, but the stress and anxiety is taking its toll on me. Honestly feels like being in an abusive/toxic relationship. And yes, senior management and leadership are aware of this attitude and supportive wherever possible, but can only do so much. Help!

Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 12. My family did not opt to put me on medication. I illegally discovered Adderall in college. Worked incredible. Got diagnosed after college & after having been fired from my first job. Passed the CPA exams on Adderall. Went off of it again. I do everything well at my job except for attention to detail within my excel files & emails. Will taking ADHD medication really fix this? Does anyone else have this issue and was it resolved by taking medication?
