I have got offer with TCS last year but because of some personal reasons could not able to join.
I have applied again and got selected but i have informed the hr about this she told she needs to get some approval from their end. And told me to drop an email saying that why I didn't join TCS at that time i dropped the mail.
So is there a chance of getting offer?

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?

TCS has given the BGV check to some vendor and today I got the message from that vendor to verify my Permanent address by clicking a link and then by enabling my location and taking selfie in front of house. HR discussion yet to happen.. In the meanwhile got another interview scheduled tomorrow frm TCS whose talent acquisition person told its a pan india location and any location can be provided...
