Any one familiar with comp for a Portfolio Associate roll at PIMCO on their mortgage backed securities team? I’m looking at an offer and want make sure I’m in line with the average comp for the company and industry. Only 4 months of experience and offer is 98k w/ 10-20% bonus plus 15k relo/ sign on. Looking at Glassdoor, bonuses seem higher than quoted by the hiring manager. (No written offer yet they say they’re still working on it)

I passed all the stages for a Senior Manager role at Deloitte UK earlier in the year and then they said the don't have the budget RN so maybe we will have budget in H2.
Kinda just seems they have a hiring freeze/slow down due to the super secret divestiture that's been clearly going on in the background for quite a while.
Just keep pestering them until they give you an offer or tell you to f'off.
Ah that sucks, I’m sorry. I’m feeling more and more pessimistic about it so will take everyone’s advice and look for jobs elsewhere. It’s ridiculous that Deloitte thinks it can put people through the whole process, tell them they’ve passed and then pull the job/give no updates.
HR can be very slow. Be patient but apply for other roles in the meantime and ping them every once in a while to check in.

Yeah the economy is bad and holidays. Might be just waiting.
It could be an ongoing internal restructuring. I gather that belt tightening is going across industries in the UK. It's best if you apply for other positions to hedge yourself in the event they decide not to hire you.
What is this news on divestiture? Is DT also doing something like EY?!
What do you mean by history repeating itself?
