Might not be the answer you’re looking for or particularly helpful, but I applied to schools who would grant me a GMAT waiver. Plenty of great schools that will. At least this worked for me bc I have a strong quant background (MS degree in quant field, full-time scientist, etc)
Currently going through this. I treat it like another part of the job.
2 hour blocks on Saturday / Sunday mornings to get through a lot of content. 1 hour each evening after dinner to focus on a specific problem type. Rinse and repeat for as many weeks as it takes.
I’m doing self guided Manhattan prep but also may need to use TTP for quant when I run out of Manhattan prep.

I did my MBA part-time at a M7. I knew I wanted to transition into consulting, which is tougher from a PT program but not impossible. Because of this, I grinded my GMAT prep as much as possible. I would study 90min minimum every day after work, using Manhattan prep, and I would do a few hours each weekend. Closer to the test I would load up 8 hour days on the weekends doing OG problems. I took the test three times over 6 months. Ended up getting 670, 670, 730. It’s doable but it will be a lot of late nights.
