I studied finance in undergrad and had a couple of internal audit internships. I only started a few month ago but I never saw myself doing IT Audit and I don’t like it thus far! Would I need to get a CPA in order to move into audit or something more finance/accounting oriented like FDD, Valuation, etc.? (Still need to get to 150, thinking of doing an online MAcc)

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting. I have 6.5 yoe in rpa and my current organisation is capgemini with 16.3 lpa fixed ctc. Pwc kolkata is giving me 19 lpa with 75k joining bonus. I tried a lot to get at least 21 lpa but hr is saying for your experience 19 is the maximum limit. Should i accept offer or not?
