The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.

I'm a brand new attorney (passed the Feb 2021 bar) who started an in-house counsel position a few months ago (where my focus is negotiating agreements for the sale of my company's software). I was a contracts manager on an in-house team for 4 years prior, which is why I was able to go straight in-house. I'm entirely skipping out on firm life, which feels both good and bad. Hi friends. I have been offered Manager designation at EY GDS in Consulting. I have 9 years of credit risk experience in BFSI companies (apart from 3 years of pre-MBA experience in IT). I have no prior experience in consulting.

Is it a good decision to join this profile? What would be the day-to-day work of a manager be like?
