I'm a mother trying to return to the workforce. My previous experience was all in live TV business news production where I was a producer with some published bylines, and a former career in Finance. I've been looking at roles from content marketing to video production but haven't had many hits. What are other roles that my profile could be competitive for? I'm in some processes for my old roles but it's so niche that there just aren't many companies to apply to. Any ideas? Thank you!

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

So, this is a little awkward, but I recently moved to SD for a fresh start, and honestly, I love this city. My problem is I have been more of a homebody since I moved here and I'm a little intimidated to go out and meet people because I don't feel like I fit in here.
