Hi! I’m an experienced tax associate with a ton of experience in automation (specifically Python) through work. I really think a career change would be great for me so I could focus more on tech. Has anyone made this switch, specifically to MBB, and have any tips regarding the recruitment process from a big 4?

I'm thinking I won't be getting promoted if not laid off at the end Q2 or sooner. What are some good exit ops for an associate with 2 yoe in tech consulting? Exp in Cloud, PMO, IT Risk, and SoD.

I’m at PE ops but I’m interested in deal work. If recruiters reach out to me before my 1 year mark should I take them or wait it out? Worried about how it’ll look on my resume as a “job hopper” or if my current team will be upset

Had some interviews with Deloitte this week in FDD was supposed to have 2 more next week but they changed scheduling and said 1 of the partners was busy and the other just wants to do a phone interview rather than video now. Am I being paranoid or is this actually a bad sign

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. We plan on having kids within the next year or two, and it’s highly u likely that she’ll be able to keep her current gig. Anyone heard good things about CFGI? I’ve heard their comp structure is gimmicky with overtime pay. But if I could make the same base there as I do in big 4 with the chance of some overtime pay is it worth it to give it a shot?
