I’m maybe taking an email developer role bit it feels like 4 steps back- I could reframe it a little and collaborate with the designers and data teams but i don’t know..

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. Art Directors, how do you feel being led by creatives with copywriting background (CDs) whose present clearly lack of knowledge about Design/Art Direction references. How to deal with it? Any tips?

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Everyone who says "I can't wait to be back at the office" - are they really serious? To tack on commute time and public transit anxiety, wake up at the crack of dawn. Will working from the office somehow decrease the work load and increase productivity? Genuinely curious who wants to go back and why.

I freelanced for an agency as an art director for 6 months and recently got hired FT. I am struggling with imposter syndrome on a daily basis but manage to get great feedback from the creative directors continuously but still feel the same way. I was put on a creative brainstorm and my ideas seemed so misaligned with everyone else's but the designs I did the client liked and I think we are moving forward with. Where does the role of art director begin and end? New to agency life. Any advice?
