Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Don't join, you will not get hike for next 2-3 years, India head is telling that people are not resigning it means they are happy so we will not give hike
???
While no one is talking anything apart from hike, here are few of the cons.
1. Globant's management is very poor; they often blame the Latem team for bad decisions.
2. Projects are typically short-term, lasting only 6 months to a year, forcing you to prepare for interviews frequently. There's no job stability.
3. There's no real career growth unless you’re good at playing office politics and catering to your mentor and manager.
4. No on-site opportunities—it’s simply not part of their culture.
5. Globant works with clients like Deloitte, EY, HSBC, and Roche, but most of the projects are unsatisfactory.
6. If a company is hiring all year round, that's a red flag. It's best to avoid joining such companies.
7. They set unrealistic expectations—expecting you to work on AI technologies without assigning you to a project, while also juggling your current assignments. There’s no proper guidance on how to learn AI; they just want a proof of concept for clients.
8. In addition to your current project, you're also expected to contribute to Studio-level work, like proof of concepts or interviews.
I hope this was helpful for you to take decision.
Completely agree..
Don't join globant. Look somewhere else.
They don't have many projects and after you are hired for the pool , you will have to give 3 rounds of interviews, 1 internal fitment, 1 client technical, 1 client managerial round.
And if you don't get a project after 5 consecutive interviews , you will be fired silently saying performance issues. So try somewhere else .
Don't join globant.
No
Don't join with that CTC. You will get good flexibility in the company but the CTC is less as per your experience.
Okay. So I don't know what is your CTC in your current organization but if Globant is giving 35-40% on your current CTC then consider taking the offer and meanwhile look for other offers with Globant Offer. But if they are giving less than 30% then don't consider.
Don't settle for 24 LPA with over 9 years of experience. Even test automation engineers with that level of experience are earning 30 LPA or more.
