Hi, I’ve received an offer from Amazon for a Senior Financial Analyst role in the Bay Area and was looking to get some thoughts about what I should expect in terms of compensation. My background is 5 years work experience in valuation + a masters in finance. The range quoted in the role is 90-120k base + sign on + RSUs but I’ve seen folks get close to only about 130k TC for this position. Can I leverage my higher years of experience to negotiate for more?

How does one tell their boss (owner of the company) that you are burnt out? Anyone a manager? I’m recently diagnosed (26F) and I can’t help but beat myself up everytime I fall short of my to do list. Makes me feel like a huge disservice to my team. I’ve been trying vitamin D and working out, but it makes my “highs” and “low” SO extreme. The simplest things are so complex in my mind.

If anyone feels similar, how do you manage these feelings? I’m personally considering switching to an individual contributor role, but can’t help but feel like a disappointment if I do.

Currently making 180 TC at a large bank and have an offer from a FAANG for 260 TC. Salary is not much different (165) but bonus/equity structure is decent. fully remote, dope company etc. I’ll be moving laterally in terms of title but I get the impression the scope/impact is larger and leveling is different in tech… no brainer?
