I am a M.Tech. in Biotechnology graduating in 2023.
Due to the current recession, facing a lot of problems in job hunting and placements.

I also have basic python skills, SQL in intermediary level, and I have studied about ITGC audits from a peer of mine. I know the basics regarding IT Audits like Program Changes, APD, Computer Changes, etc.

I have interned at Tata medical centre and have written 3 research paper, one of them is in AI.

Please help.

Is it a bad idea to leave tech and try something else if I want to go back to tech eventually? For context I have the opportunity to move to London and pivot into a new field for me but the job is at an agency. I know I’d want to eventually go back to tech but paranoid it’ll be more difficult - thoughts?

Hi guys, I'm currently working on a freelance project remotely and the contractor is paying me well. But I've been looking for a full time job, I got one but the salary is lesser also their is work from office for 3 days a week without any cab facility. What should I do? Should I take this role?

Should I decline the offer and ask to be considered for a higher role that better fits my qualifications? The offer I had was with a great bank but I'm overqualified for that. Its been hard to find a job because I dont have prior experiences.

Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. What can I do? Is it that just your IT work ex they consider? Suggest things I could do. Completed 8 months in Accenture now as SAP Functional consultant.

This new PTO policy is so bogus. I have a newly promoted senior that is still a staff on my large job and just told me they requested a week off during fieldwork, even though they have been unassigned for multiple weeks here and there all summer. They told me they were waiting until August so that they wouldn’t have to use their accrued time so they can bank it. So now I’m totally screwed and down a team member and my manager thinks “I can handle it”. My morale is at an all time low right now.

Think it is funny how recruiters seem to think the vague description "national market paying firm in X city" is at all enticing to one already at a national market paying firm in X city. I have usually seen people taking sick leaves when workload is more and there is more responsibility coming in team. But I always hesitate to ask for leaves, I feel I'm doing something wrong. At the same time I'm exhausted with work and feel like I should be taking 1-2 leaves per month. Even in new organization it's been 4 months, I have not taken even a single leave.

How to deal with these thoughts? It looks like job is taking control over my mind and health.
