I have an offer with Capita plc for 22 LPA for 5 yoe.
It's complete WFH.
Tech stack is spring boot and microservices.
Is it a product based company or a service based company?
How wlb will be in Capita plc?
I have been offered 6A band as senior software engineer, so is 22LPA fair compensation?
Thanks in advance.

For such role, 20l is something you can target.
Also in current market,BA or product manager is a better role than market risk. I have done both, you could ideally work for a startup and take stock options, that's more lucrative
Thanks mate for the info ... Risk was one of the target roles that I was aiming for before getting into MBA. So even if the offer does not provide a good hike as of now, I would be ready to accept it since I'm no longer interested to stay in IT. I was just trying to get a ballpark number for negotiation for HR round.
Hey as suggested earlier i think 20 lpa is a good target. Also just be ready to work in Indian banking culture you heard from your friends. However there are intelligent people in Icici from good colleges. If you endure their culture for 2 years then you may move to foreign banks. Its absolutely fine to move from BA to BAU function as per interest which is more domain centric role.
Even if you feel to come back to BA after some period, dont think there should be an issue. There is good demand for market risk BA in foreign banks always. You can take change BA role later on also.
Thanks a lot for your feedback

I know you'll ignore my advice but I'll anyway say it. You're making a huge mistake. Don't switch away from IT especially to companies like ICICI. Work culture and overall life is so much better here.
I also was looking to switch from IT initially after MBA but later only did I realise what a huge mistake it would have been
Work life balance in ICICI is good. Post 7/7:30 PM, people won't even pick up your call and you won't get a call after 7/7:30 PM
Also send me your resume if you really want a risk role itself and have some time at hand
Yeah.. get stick options in startup and work UT off, or get into an mnc and settle
