Why are you trying to be respectful? It’s a job. You want out, get out. Go find something that aligns with you better.
Trust me. Companies aren’t, “respectful” when it’s time for layoffs. It’s all a business.
Be professional about it and you’ll be fine.
1-2 months. Less time invested in training them and I can maybe go back to the other candidates and see if they are available, assuming they were a good fit.
I’m training myself / my manager lol.

If your there for only a month or even 6 months, people will forget you very quickly. Don't worry about it
Depends on my company's hiring policies. If there's a freeze that prevents me from backfilling the spot, I would prefer to have someone around until backfill is allowed. If there is no issue with replacement, I'd rather have them quit sooner so my investments are focused in someone more likely to be around longer.
Probably 1-2 months so I didn’t spend all time and investment to train you up

From your perspective, if I have a job lined up, I’d give the standard notice and offer to help as needed. Keep those contacts for future
