Aside from a lame 401k match policy - I've found it to be quite a solid crew of people. Been with the firm almost 1.5 years and have only met one person I didn't care for.
I've honestly had a great experience in my ~2 years. Never been on the bench or ever had to worry about that. I have immediate access to MD's and partners whenever I need something. Been trusted with a ton of management level responsibilities as an associate.
I'd refer a potato if it meant I got the recruitment bonus.

I've been around the block and I love this firm. 5 years and counting. It's such a relief to work with people who are great at what they do and truly enjoy their work! The pecking order, so called, means jackshit after a few years. It's not about brand name it's about having a career. And, the Big K brand name is pretty damn sexy if you're in MC, Strategy or deals.

But in all honesty, only been here a year and love most things about the job and the way the firm treats us. Honest cons: I don't feel incredibly challenged in my service line, and I've found the overall intellectual caliber of my peers to be a bit lower than I expected before coming into the firm. I know it sounds pretentious but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
