Don't go to CDO, it's a shit show. You get worse pay and benefits.
CDO does not have an up or out (aka up or elsewhere) policy as in C&M. That being said you might be at level longer than you expect, but that can happen anywhere.
CDO is changing from what it used to be. It's not worse pay or benefits. ACN is changing the way it thinks about its people. It really only makes a difference at the SM level and up. CDO SMs and above deliver projects and C&M SMs and above focus on sales. You wil really have to define yourself and path at the manager level
Regardless of what people here say, know you'll be treated substantially differently than your counterparts in C&M. If you're fine with less PTO, 401K match, and salary bands, feel free to accept the offer.
Accenture is amazing but not sure about cdo. If it was CM I would say go for it dude.
How long do you have to decide op?
What's CDO?
Agree w A2. CDO used to be the way nay-sayers are saying it is. I believe that is changing because there's been such an uproar internally. OP, how many days PTO? 6% 401K match? What's the salary, level, and city/region?
Consultant lvl. Don't like sharing region. 105k. Offer from KPMG for senior lvl with 110k. I think KPMG seems best right now given what I've heard about acn cdo. Also I spoke to one of my friends in cdo who has been consultant for 8 years at acn itself. How the hell?
105 is a bit low for C, maybe the bottom of the range for a south or Midwest type city. Could negotiate that if you care to. (PTO over 20 and 6% match? ... curious if CDO is more competitive than it was) 8 years but not trying for M right?
Pto 15
And this is for LA
Low ball. Should be a tonnnn of room for negotiation
A3 105 is not low for consultant anymore - CM here and it's like 110 or less now in ny when promo up to consultant. They decreased all the bands in their standardizing.
Come to KPMG. No regrets ☀️🏖
Yeah i started rethinking that after doing some mental math. 105 is not so low.
15 PTO days is classically CDO low tho.
OP, 401k match? Some say CDO is lower than C&M'S 6%
Also Emp Stock PP is 15% off up to 10% of your salary which comes to 1k to 2k extra after tax income each year
I'm going with my gut and signing for kpmg tomorrow morning. Something doesn't feel right about acn to me after talking to a bunch of folks
