What is this? Be happy with what you have.. 37 LPA is absolutely amazing. Way too dramatic saying things like want to kill yourself, crippling depression etc. for this.
Keep trying patiently.. If it works, good. If not, good as well. How long do you want to be in this rat race? Start becoming content and focussing on personal side - hobbies, travel, family etc.
Bro come on…trust me you are at a position where crores of people are striving to be in..37Lpa in 2.5years is no joke…you need to find mental peace or you’ll be in pieces!
Even Ambani wants more wealth..so aspiring more is great but what would you do if you don’t have peace and happiness..?? You might reach your goals in the next 1 year!!

I was laid off from Bain in Feb'24, and till date I have been unable to convert an interview opportunity. Many people ditched me because of my last drawn salary being "too high" saying "your knowledge of data & insights are weak" instead of simply accepting that they have budget issues. Got ghosted by multiple big name product companies from strategy roles after giving an interview, got ghosted by a big Venture Capital firm after clearing all their technical rounds, and till date, I am jobless. I am the sole earner in my family, and I am running my household with my savings. Its been 6 months, and the longer I wait the harder it becomes to get into a new job. Take out of this story what you will, you need to continue carrying on and keep trying, no other way out.
Might be because you joined Bain in Dec? (If I’m not wrong) you should try APM roles across the board
Ok. 2.5 yoe at bcg is ~25lpa to my knowledge (36 post mba). Not sure what you are complaining about. Also if you’re in Strat& / Parthenon - almost just as good and you should recognise how bad the market is right now
