Super straightforward. Granted, I have CIPP US and CIPP E. I did what has worked for the prev certs, which is read/skim the entire book once, then read again but track the body of knowledge and kind of outline as I read it.

CIPM was the easiest for me.

I found it difficult. For me, having experience in Privacy wasn't that helpful because you must know what the IAPP thinks the answers are rather than what you would do in real life situations. Not always the same thing.

Ps. I found the book really confusing. Each chapter has a different author & each person uses different terminology to talk about the same things. The book is more program organization focused ('know your stakeholders!' and 'put up privacy posters!'). I found this book to be really helpful. (Amazon).

I have a business idea in the VR/AR space utilizing AI. However, I lack skill sets to evaluate viability or to create an MVP. Neither do I have a network to tap into.

My plan is taking classes to deepen my knowledge while joining and actively participating in communities to find collaborators.

Does this approach make sense or do you recommend other approaches? If it makes sense, do you have any recommendations for classes or communities?

Look forward to hearing your experiences and wisdom!
