Is it just me or is strength training the hip new workout for weight loss? Before this people recommended HIIT and before that it was cardio. What makes us so sure that this time strength training really is gonna be the key and it’s not just another trend?

What expense ratio is considered higher than usual? Looking at my rollover IRA account with Vanguard where I’m invested in a target retirement fund, expense ratio is .15%

I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. I am an m&a junior at a firm that is generally considered a lifestyle firm (pay below market but target hours are lower unless pushing for partner). Over the pandemic period, we have had so many senior associates and paralegals leave that there is no one to ask questions to and I’m doing paralegal work (we are all in survival mode).
