Lol smh, but given confidentiality, do y'all just scrub the deliverable?
A deliverable isn't a good idea to submit, scrubbed or otherwise. It still contains a company's IP that you created under contract for them, so you do not own it and can't share it.
Sharing would also indicate to the new employer that you are unscrupulous with company data, thus leaving a negative impact for yourself.
If you have a whitepaper or some other publically accessible document created, it'd be better to show that.
This is common in the independent consulting world. Yes, just keep some cleansed slides on hand.

I wouldn’t. I’d say no and if that ends it that ends it.
Refer them to published white papers and public domain articles.
Data Protection and NDAs - you’re not obligated to disclose such information for applications or interviews. Companies are more and more fishing out potential future information breaches during the screening process. Other companies are probably only too happy to gather IP from their competitors. We have zero tolerance for any IP sharing between clients and past or future employers. It would mean rejecting any candidate from consideration if they did so at interview or application to avoid major legal risk.

I don’t share my work. If you want to see it, pay for an engagement or hire me directly.
