I try to keep up with it daily and respond to emails when they come in. It's obviously not always feasible, but I hate having my inbox cluttered so I try to stay on top of it as best I can.
I just deal with it as it comes in. If something is pending, I will make an effort to get it wrapped up by the end of a week, just so it's not hanging out there. But I don't have a really organized system for dealing with it, it's more like just handling things are they arrive.

Depends on what comes through. If it has any sense of urgency I’ll get to that right away. Everything else I try to wait until set times, or else I will spend all day just reading and sending emails and then I fall behind. Keep telling myself to set up the filters, but haven’t taken the time to actually do it yet.

I organize it in folders
Daily as they come in. I can’t stand to see large numbers of unread emails in my inbox.
