Rising Star
It feels like a power move by small minded leaders to me
99% of my duties are to call people on the phone… and collaborate with people who sit at different sites in my company. I do not work with anyone in my office… yet I’m forced to be there
I don't really mind it. I prefer working from the office, so it doesn't really affect me. But I do feel bad for my colleagues who have a very long commute.
My job is lab based. So when people in my organization claim to be working remotely they are taking advantage of the flexibility we were given during covid. Our jobs cannot be done remotely. So I am personally glad that there were requirements to come back onsite.
