I’m in a pickle. Currently working in multistate tax and I am not a fan. I just accepted a position with KPMG on their methods team (it sounds like interesting work and I’m sick of compliance). I put in my notice and my Deloitte manager is trying to fight for me. He wants to match the pay they are offering and get me into a group that I like more. I am a ball of anxiety. Loved the people I met with for KPMG, but having my manager push so hard for me is making me have second thoughts. Any input?

I create some pre-recorded lessons and aligned packets with materials ready-to-go in folders that teachers can use in my absence. If teachers don’t feel comfortable running one of those lessons I encourage them to do a “what we know, what we don’t know but want to know” about emotions, counseling, conflict, etc so that I can have a better base when I do come in next time. There are also some amazing lessons by Brad Montague on his website that are easy and wonderful in a pinch.
I think that above suggestion is a good one to have some material prepared… But remember teachers also take days off and you are entitled to your days
