How do you help your team members resolve interpersonal conflict? Three platform resources have an issue with a PM on my team. I tend to agree more with his side of most conflicts but I need him to work well with these other colleagues. What strategies would you take when you as a leader feel the issues do reside more with the others but your team is getting the flack?

It can depend on the situation. I would meet with each person for their perspective and then meet with all of them together to set expectations.

I just picked up a new freelance gig after coming out (again 😮‍💨) but professionally and they're really respecting my pronouns! They did a whole thing where they're having people add their pronouns to their email signature too 🥰

They never make a deal out of it and if they mess up they correct and move right along. They're from the Midwest and some of the team is older too so its really nice 😅

Im a 6th year associate working for a company that I plan to stay at long term. Currently working under a G.C. that does not analyze anything from a legal perspective, occupies herself with mostly admin/operational issues, and doesnt give any direction on how she wants things “handled.” Just looking for any suggestions from people who have successfully dealt with this before.

My company issues top of the line 16” MBP’s for engineers and lower end 13” MBP’s for all others. I work in analytics/ data science and struggle with the fact that my computer can only run 1 external display! No one else on my team cares. How can I navigate requesting a more expensive computer without annoying my leadership? I already own an upgraded MBP as my personal - can I offer to swap my work and personal machines?

I was on a tour but where I asked a couple of older women sitting behind me to speak softly as it was 6:30 am in the morning. When you tell your manager you are unhappy and they are excited that you are putting your notice and don't try and make any changes b/c the new person/persons they are lining up will just cleanup and make it better.

I have a direct report who is smart, passionate about her job and can be really innovative. However she carries this enormous weight of responsibility, for needing to do everything, do it right, make sure it's perfect, not trusting colleagues to help. It creates dread and panic and overwhelming workload and a terrible attitude for her and I am speaking with her this week to start to shift her mindset. Hi All, I have an urgent query regarding TCS BGC process. My issue is that I have worked in X, Y and Z companies.

I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.
