How do I pivot from a broker to any job in tech?
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

I live alone, so there's no one else to blame it on. So I just discipline myself to more or less clean as I go. If I don't make a mess and let it sit around, I don't wind up spending part of the weekend on a cleaning binge. One of my life goals is to get my laundry done on a weeknight so I have open days on the weekend. Wow, I'm really living the life!
Haha! It’s nice to not have chores on the weekend!
Everything has a time and place. I try to keep up on some things during the week, more time consuming things on the weekend. Work isn’t going anywhere and neither are the dishes or laundry so I try to not stress myself out over them. Just one responsibility at a time!
Work life balance is all about logging out when your day is done. Don't get yourself into the "one more" thing mentality. I try to have the work I'm actively doing wrapped up about 30 mins before the end of my shift so that I can just check emails or anything and wind down before logging out. As for chores, I do little things on my breaks. That leaves me less to do later in the day and helps keep me focused. I tell myself if I work hard for an hour and a half I can then take the dog for a walk or do my dishes. Just make sure to take your breaks and walk away. Outside time helps a lot, especially if you're like me and rarely even leave my house anymore lol. Hope this helps.
Yeah, it's hard to find balance. What helps me is that I try to find periods where I can get other stuff done. For example, I use my hour lunch break to do a run or calisthenics, so that by the time I leave work, I have already done my workout too. I also find getting up early and having a 'day before my day starts' has been really helpful. That is my time to do house cleaning, do dishes or cook a nice meal. It keeps me energized for the rest of the day, and once I clock out, I have the rest of my evening to enjoy the little things.
