Hey Fishbowl community! I currently work as a Sales Support Specialist with 3 YOE working at a SaaS company. My dream career is to work at Microsoft or Google. I am open to different opportunities that exceed 80k+ per year. I also have a BA in Business Admin. If anyone can refer me to a great remote position I would greatly appreciate it! 😀

Just talk about how happy you are with your accomplishments, but don't glorify yourself as a person. Instead, try to involve other people in your celebration as well.
If you figure it out, please let me know. I know personal branding can help a lot in unlocking opportunities, but I struggle with how boastful and inauthentic it always seems to me. I guess the best way to go about it is by assessing what you're considering posting through the lens of value: will people benefit from reading what I'm posting, in spite of the inherent braggadocious nature? If so, you're in the clear. If not, try to reframe it so it's informational enough to not read like a total brag post.
I view posts like that on linked in as attention-starved, and people active on LinkedIn the same. If I look up an applicant on linked in and see they have post activity—especially original content—I take that as a red flag. It doesn’t always, but a lot of times it coincides with job hoppers as well.
I just don't take that stuff too seriously and I spend very little time on LinkedIn. I think it's like a lot of things, the real professionals are just doing it, they're not showing off on places like LinkedIn. Some of those bragging posts can get a lot of likes, but I question how valuable any of that engagement really is.
