How good are you with posting about your milestones and collaborations in your career on LinkedIn/Facebook? I saw a post from a brand manager post a detailed paragraph with relevant pictures for a campaign launch and the text was so glorified it felt like they were talking about finding the next cure for cancer. But that post did so well and I could see how his network was opening up just in the comments. I want to start doing this, but without annoying pride. How do you do that?

Managers schedule meeting after office hours and expects us to be available always.

Sorry to say this but I have seen only Indians who work extra hours. What's even funny is that the upper management laugh at foreigners who work exactly 8hours.

I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?
