Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

I don't think anyone has ever made a judgement about that
I've conducted dozens of interviews and this is a total nonissue.
I have. Cheap ones usually go with clip on ties
It makes no difference whatsoever. However, I find a nice product makes me feel more confident so I would go with the leather, but that's just me.
Mine still says the name of my undergrad school haha
In our profession, appearances matter. Yes, it's most important to make sure you've mentally prepped and your CV is perfect. But an interviewer will also be judging how client ready you are and anything raggedy in appearance will detract from that. If it comes down to you and another candidate with comparable qualifications, but the other candidate's appearance was more on point, who do you think will get the job offer?
Agree with D1. Focus on CV content and your story.
Depends on how bad you want the job.
Nobody cares.

Who brings a folio to an interview? I mean not being snarky at all, but why?
D3 - you should always have a hard copy of your resume with you. The resume goes in there and you have a place to take notes. (Using a device during an interview is rude).
