I know this career takes a lot out of folks, but what are some things you’re grateful for?

I’ve been having a hard time finding energy to interview but I’m REALLY grateful that recruiters from great companies reach out on LinkedIn just based on my skills/current company. Takes a big weight off.

Grateful that I was able to leave with a nice 401k and a bank of airline and hotel points for my future vacations.

Yes!!! Those points are such a lifesaver! Status too 😊

I love the variety of projects. Yes, you’ll get unlucky sometimes but all of the different skills you build makes it so worth it. Honestly scared to jump to industry bc I worry I’d get bored.

Interviewing in the Cloud Economics org at Amazon. Can anyone shed lights on what type of questions to expect during the HM level interview? This would be my first time speaking to the HM after the headhunter call.

Beginning to consider going in house (4th, corp) - I really haven’t thought about what I want, partly because I’m not sure what’s out there/attainable. Is it a bad idea to start by applying to a couple positions that interest me and seeing where that gets me? I’ll of course prep for the interviews but am afraid to burn potential bridges if I ultimately decline because I’m still figuring things out.

Hello!
I'm italian, 26 yo and currently working in France as financial analyst.
Work environment is great, friendly and multicultural but I don't like the job at all.
Personal life is not so nice since I manage to see my family and gf every 30/45 days only. Colleagues have their own lives and at the end we don't hang out much.
My dilemma is:
A) going back to Italy at a lower salary with less growth opps but better personal life or
B) Switching my job here and hold on

What would you do?

Thx! :)

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest

I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
