I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

I'm worried that if I speak up, she'll make my life even harder. I don't want to lose my job because of this—do you guys have any advice?

Over the last few years I’ve allowed myself to gain 40 pounds. I often feel uncomfortable and unattractive in my own body, and I fear that the extra weight puts me at greater risk if I were to catch Covid (though I am vaccinated). Despite all this, I struggle to find the motivation to change. I have lost weight before, but it all came creeping back. I feel very cynical about trying to lose it again. I guess I am just not unhappy enough to try again. Has anyone been in the same boat?

I had a hectic last three months working up to 16 hours a day due to my project. During this time I took advantage of convenient food which isn’t always the best. Now that things have died down I am having trouble switching from the less convenient food, snaking more than I should and not being as active as I was during the three months previously. I am a full stack developer with 9.5 LPA and 2YOE in IndiaMart. And have a offer from Uber for data analyst profile with 12.1 Base and 2.5 Performance bonus.
I am so confused, I am getting a brand name like uber and a decent hike at the cost of Changing the profile.

One of my friend got fired last year and company (big 4) messed up the F&f payment process. They forgot to deduct tds on some component and paid the full amount to my friend. Now they got audited in current year (fy 21-22) and deposited that tds with govt. Now they are claiming this money from my friend. What should he do?

Last working day of first company Dec 26 and second company it's 22 nd Dec. Will there be any issue in third company background check?
