How do PPMDs make sure when you are replacing an incumbent, you don't get handed down a broken system ? What sort of knowledge transfer and contractual framework do you get the client to agree to and how do you negotiate on that? So far, I understand that there are client-serving firms like FTI and then the B4 will have forensics arms as well. What are some other forensic accounting roles? Pros and cons? Better than audit? Working as Consultant at Cognizant Business Consulting now, I am being offered a role of Senior Business Analyst as a contractor for 1yr, initially for 6 months in Deloitte india. I am a bit skeptical with this Contractor thing. Can someone guide me please? They say I don't have prior Big 4 consulting experience and hence this role.

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.

I directly said to client that I can't since I have my family here.
When I inform this to my manager he is saying how come u say like this to client.according to kpmg policy u need to travel to anywhere to work.
