Are there any Deloitte penetration testers or managers over the Pentesting team in here? I found a role and I was trying to connect to the right person to help increase my chances of getting viewed for the role and be the lucky winner. Feel free to DM me, I am also prior Deloitte in the Cyber GPS offering. Deloitte
For anyone that works in PwC’s Cyber Risk & Regulatory - Enterprise Risk and Control Services practice, can you please provide detail about your day to day (workload, hrs, team, travel, etc) and experience so far? What opportunities does PwC offer outside of supporting financial audits within the practice. Thank you for the clarification in advance!
I am reaching out to you all and am looking forward to break into Investment Banking from Consulting. Applied to Goldman Sachs via a referral but my resume is stuck after HireVue. Talked to the VO who referred me and he said Goldman doesn’t hire in Q4. If that’s true and still need to be in GS, can someone forward my resume directly to the team? Their career portal sucks. TIA Goldman Sachs PS: I promise a dinner in a dance place in NY after I get hired as a sign of my gratitude 🙈

As professionals, we work for people, not for a company. Work culture and experience is tied to the practice you sit in, not the overall firm. Think about... did you "connect" with the people you interviewed with? Do you know anybody that works there? That may help.
There’s truth to this, but you can’t ignore overall firm culture or say it doesn’t exist. “Eat what you kill”star systems vs lockstep collaborative are philosophies that differ across firms. It’s meaningful if you prefer or thrive in one versus the other.

How is it for what?
Negative reviews from where?
I love it, but I’m in a fast growing group that’s got a great culture and I’m well paid, but I’m sure there are people who have different experiences.
Generally speaking, culture is tough to beat though. Nobody is having “fun” at any of the firms’ meat grinder deals practices, but at least leadership recognizes it’s a meat grinder here and has some empathy.
