Thinking of applying for a few Change Management Specialist roles but really want to be in a practice that has decent WLB and nice people. I’m not in change management but can definitely help with a referral if you’re interested
Change Management is a growing field. WLB varies on projects and role, if you focus on strategy, solutions, and executing change it is better than enablement/adoption as the timelines are usually bad to create and deliver training. You may not get much more in salary TBH as CM pays less than many other types of consulting. Are you at Big4 now? And are you certified in anything like Prosci?
Go for it apply at all of the firms, you can always jump ship if needed as it is not really frowned upon to grow in your career. Lots of CM jobs available these days at the Big4, smaller firms and even Google and Amazon.
