Hey all just FYI my psych told me in my appointment that stimulants ordered from Express Scripts often give patients problems...including me. Felt like I was taking something totally different.

Anyone have experience with the new ADD medication Azstarys? Thoughts, opinions welcome. I’m curious to know how it might work compared to Adderall.

Anyone have a PCP recommendation in Chicago? Preferably affiliated with Rush or Northwestern. I like someone really thorough.

Any recs for PCPs (primary care doctors) in Chicago? I live in Lakeview so ideally in the city

My regular GP doesn't take Cigna, which is my new workplace insurance, so looking for a new general practitioner in NYC. Healthy so mostly for annual physical and the occasional something minor. M/53. UWS preferable or UES would also work. Any recommendations welcome. Thank you.

We were not trying to conceive. And I was drinking alcohol like twice a week.
Now I missed my period and pregnant. I am panicking a lot, not sure if I want a baby right now. Definitely i cant deal with pregnancy constantly knowing how much u drinking could have affected the fetus and if i could ever endure the consequences it would bring upon the baby

I tested positive on Friday for Covid. I have no symptoms- feel 100%. I can’t leave my studio apartment until Monday. Normally I run anywhere from 4-6 miles outside a day. Anyone have any suggestions on exercise classes that don’t require any equipment? Or just general ideas to keep moving?

Tips for desk research heavy projects (lots of reading, processing and synthesising information): how do you do it? Are certain meds better/worse? Modafinil feels better for reading and processing info but stimulants better for focus and executing tasks.

Hello All - I struggle with time management. I take medication but I have no idea whether a task will take 40 mins or 4 hours. Because of this, I over commit and under deliver. Also, having been on the receiving end of criticism, over time I have developed a perfectionist streak. I won't turn it in if it is good enough. How do you break out of this habit?

So i have adhd and really bad anxiety. Seeing a physchiatrist that will likely put me on anti anxiety meds.

Has anyone with adhd here gone on anti anxiety meds without treating the adhd, and if so how did the meds affect concentration and memory?

Any online services that diagnose adhd ? Based in the uk and the wait it weeks if not months.

As someone with ADHD, have you ever asked for adjustments to the interview process (PST, case interview, etc.)?

If so, what did you ask for (extra time, or anything else else)? and did you feel like it helped?

How do you deal with the following - 1) lack of general organization in life, note taking, keeping track of your relationships and 2) attention to detail. These 2 things have been bothering me a lot. We all are smart as hell but silly mistakes such as spelling mistakes, broader checks to be done on the deck is killing me. I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. It seems rude when she says it, and she follows it up with “I say that because I love you” which i feel is so unprofessional all around. Anyone have guidance on how to handle this?
