Bench ka Kya system hain bhailog capgemini mein?
Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!
Anyone on bench reporting to airoli office?

I know a guy who spent 6 months hiding. He had decided to start his own venture but don't want to quit. So he would update GSS every Thursday showing he's on project from next week and then clear it out on Tuesday. 6 months of no work, no firm initiatives and free salary.
A god among men
Inspiring but so unethical

I was on the bench for 3 months, was getting close to the "get a project or get gone talk" but found a few options before that
I suppose I should mention I did absolutely nothing for those 3 months..

Depends on your practice, sphere of influence, value to the firm, prior utilization, whether you are working on internal/BD work that's valued while on the beach, etc.
...there's no single good answer
Depends on 1. your firm and 2. how busy you were with internal work while on bench. I was on bench for 3 months, but I was busy busy busy with internal work.
I bet that is why they gave us staffit
You can play the same trick on staffit
