12-24 months - important to note that in my stream of accounting you can make director in less than 10 years due to shortages across the industry so promotions are often yearly until Associate Director and then it becomes a question of how many jobs you bring the firm.

like

3-4 yrs

like

4 years minimum

like

4 years

like

5-6 years for Managers. Once manager roughly 2 years maybe 3 at most. M and SM there’s not much change aside from revenue goals now play a role so gotta start selling

like

2-4 years

3 is fast, 5-7 is what I see.

3-4, but most people make it at 4.

3-5, typical is 4 but the others are not unheard of.

I work in SAP Data Migration space.
Can anyone explain the difference between PWC SDC, PWC AC and PWC India?

I am trying to get into PWC. here are a few things I have heard so far. Is this fairly accurate?

1. PwC AC is offshore counterpart of PwC US. Good salary. No travel opportunities. Average yearly hike ~10% Mostly technical work.
2 PwC India is a pure consulting firm. Salary better than PwC AC. client facing work. Can grow as a management consultant. Great Travel opportunities.

Just finishing my first week in as an audit intern and genuinely I have no idea what I'm doing or even a general idea of the audit process. The senior associate left the engagement last week so it's just me and an associate, and they don't have time to give me instruction.

Am I stupid or did the e-learns not prepare me for any of this? The training told me I'd be auditing cash but I haven't even touched a bank reconciliation.

Another good senior gave notice today 🥲 don’t blame her one bit and wish her best of luck - I just wish our firm would’ve treated people better so that people at least don’t leave during busy season (we are filing in 3 weeks). Curious what others think about this: a friend of mine has a couple of months of leave this fall to study for the CPA exam (they’ll be paid a reduced salary during their leave), but they mentioned they have no intention of studying for the exam, and instead plan to use that time to look for another job. This rubs me the wrong way, but wanted to hear what others think…
