How long does it take from GC enrollment to I140 at Deloitte? I have 22 months to max out and is expecting December enrollment.
Immigration team is asking me to wait for enrollment but is confident that they will ensure I won't max out and will prioritize once enrolled.

My wife is on H4, how do I go about her immigration requirements? Does she need a transfer or amendment on current visa once I get my visa transferred?

Ever run into an issue with CPE? I'm due to renew this yr, for the first FY year I'm not sure I meet the 20 hours min (I switched jobs during this period)... I might need to go inactive then convert?

I'm launching a small PE firm and need advice on structuring equity for early founding team members.

I don't want to give up equity in the firm for several reasons but I do need to incentivize my team.

Should I offer phantom stock or form a subsidiary LLC and issue stock in that but always own the parent co? Or just offer carried interest for deals they each manage?

Started the internal GC process in October 2018. Today I-485 status changed to "we ordered your new card." My jail free card is finally on the way I guess. Hope everyone with pending I-485 gets your GC soon!

Hi all, my H1B got approved today and I am waiting on the actual physical notice. In parallel I have a L2 EAD extension request in process. My H1B is valid from oct 1 only. Can I withdraw my L2 tomorrow? Is it okie if I am out of status for nine days? I am worried that the L2 will get approved. If it does get approved, what do I do?

If you receive an RFE on the I485 while it has been pending for 180 days, does your new company attorney respond to the RFE? Assuming you switched companies after it has been pending for 180 days. Anyone experienced anything similar?
