Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

If everything lines up (lateral move to competitor) then very little (less than 1hr researching their products/key accomplishments/teams). Anything outside of that (career step up, outside industry, etc) and I’d invest a few hours drilling down on those same topics plus how my role fits in with their vision.
If I already have my practice questions preparation done, then about an hour to:
1. Research the organization and make my own notes on key points like their mission, vision, history, recent projects, etc.
2. Try to search for the interviewers on the panel on LinkedIn to learn about their background and experience.
3. Make my list of questions to ask the panel at the end of the interview.
I used to invest a lot of time, because I'm Earnest like that, but then I started finding that I was doing better and interviews where I prepped for 10 minutes beforehand, so now that's my recipe
I start preparing about 3 days before.
