No one really! Maybe just you.
I am sure most ppl commenting here have no idea there is a difference in the way we pronounce v and w. One of my american colleagues actually pointed it to me and my mind was blown. His simple example was the difference between wow and a wedding vow. Most Indians pronounce these words the same. So everything slamming on OP, nothing is wrong with him/her. But you all can learn a thing or two from this post!
Seriously don’t understand the point of this? Are you okay?
Sorry didnt mean to trigger anyone. I'm completely fine mispronouncing words and can take feedback. I can also laugh at myself and not so easily offended.
If I was the only one making that mistake you could have said so and I would have laughed about it. Quite unnecessary to talk about mental health in this context. Reflects poorly on you.
Bruh I was born and raised in the US and I accidentally do this sometimes. My parents don’t though so I have no idea why I do it lol
My gf is not desi and I always get picked on this. By end of quarantine, that’s my goal to pronounce them like Vieee and Www separately and properly 🙄
Ay ay captain! 👍
Born here, and still do it

Don’t get the point of this post. Also I don’t think our generation does this, very less people might and that’s ok. Don’t self shame yourself and your people.

Sorry I misunderstood your post OP. You can always take lessons if you are conscious. Lot of other people from different countries have heavy accents. We never talk about those because it’s not a big deal.
And weird and not "veird"
Born in India. Have never done it. But have heard it from a few people.
I was actually called out on this by a white dude who was my manager but a good friend as well. I wasn’t aware of it until much later.
I’ve heard people saying this, but it’s very subtle... I think everyone understands so it’s not a problem.

What’s the difference again?
