21 PTO days, 10 sick days at EY
Yes you can roll vacation days, but the allotment is 18 per year
16 which to me seems good compared to my friends in industry but crap compared to everyone else I know in public accounting
However some of my friends in industry asked me recently if we ever just get random Friday’s off because it’s summer or because we work hard and I just LOL’ed to that question
LOL I’m working 10 hours regularly M-Th anyway, my SM would have an aneurysm if I suggested we should get Friday off because of that 😂
22 PTO days, unlimited sick days
Pwc 16 - policy used to be 3 - just wanted to confirm it changed and now you can take 5 in a row without a note anything beyond that could cause issues?
Europe: 32 days of vacation, 12 holidays and unlimited sick days.
30 days PTO + 14ish holidays. No sick days but PTO days are to be used for that. Note, 30 days is manager level.
If your current PTO plan is 23 days as a staff, you will have 28 days as a manager. If your current PTO plan is 25 days, you will have 30 as a manager.
Deloitte introduced different PTO plans for those hired post 2016.
Cathy gave us 2 extra holiday days that are now between 12/25 and 1/1 which means we have that week in between now completely off. For those hired after this was introduced, they reduced your PTO by 2 days a year and capped your PTO accrual at 15 days a year to offset this but kept us older folks on the better PTO plan.

K14 at PwC I have 23 vacation days, 12 or so holidays and unlimited sick time. After 20 years I can say I rarely take more than a few days per year but last year I had over 2 weeks due to nasty viral infection and I had the swine flue and was out almost a month.
Unlimited Flexible Time Off (FTO). I’ve used about 27-ish days this year as a first year. Plus 9 (i think?) sick days.

Kpmg gets 200 hours (5 weeks) 25 days. We can roll forward a max of 100 hours at the end of the FY

BDO non managers get 5.34 every two weeks accrued hours. Annual PTO accrual 16 days, maximum at one time 12 days
Non Managers with 5 years or more get 7.34 every two weeks. Annual PTO accrual 22 days, maximum at one time 15 days.
Managers and above get 9.34 hours every two weeks. Annual PTO accrual 28 days, maximum at one time 20 days.
Loved FTO when I was with GT. I had great utilization, and made the most of it accordingly.
Unlimited, it used to be 25 days. If you will be gone longer than 3 weeks in a row you need approval but it's been super nice not having to count days and plan ahead. Now if I have capacity to take off, I take off.

Unlimited here at Baker Tilly. But don't plan on using any of it. You get shamed when you try to take time.
Staff - seniors are 20 vacation, 5 sick, 10 holidays (if you can't take due to work obligations they are floating). When it comes to serious sick, if you go on ST disability you receive 100% pay for the waiting period. Manager/5 years is 25 days vacation, senior manager/10 years is 28 days, director/principal is 30 days.
They are moving to "self managed" (unlimited) next year - I plan on following the same guidelines anyways.
