21 PTO days, 10 sick days at EY
Yes you can roll vacation days, but the allotment is 18 per year
16 which to me seems good compared to my friends in industry but crap compared to everyone else I know in public accounting
However some of my friends in industry asked me recently if we ever just get random Friday’s off because it’s summer or because we work hard and I just LOL’ed to that question
LOL I’m working 10 hours regularly M-Th anyway, my SM would have an aneurysm if I suggested we should get Friday off because of that 😂
Does this include Holidays?
The shut downs are holidays
I think I have 4 weeks...haven’t used one yet this year
I have 25 PTO days and 9 holidays (no separate sick days) at the Senior Associate level. It’s 21 days for staff and 30 for manager and above I think?
It’s already been said but EY seniors and above get 25 days pto, 10 sick days that can be used for taking care of dependents, and like 12 holiday days a year (not sure on the exact number).
@PwC you’re also offering a $2,500 reduction in new hire salaries too.
5 weeks, mandatory to take at least one week straight and four 3 day weekends (in addition to holidays) but at the same time my boss says “if you get your work done, I don’t care if you’re never actually around. Just answer your emails promptly.”
23 days PTO until year 5. Then it’s 28.
30 PTO days + 10 holidays (I think). No sick days.
Our firm recently shifted to unlimited PTO, so the focus is on meeting your annual goals (chargeable and net hours (net = all hours - PTO)) so as long as you meet those then you are good to go. If you don’t meet your goals then it will negatively effect you during annual review time.
How many chargeable hours do you need to hit each year ?
Unlimited vacation
Most places I been outside of big 4 have been unlimited. This is for tech companies mostly.
Yeah I wasn’t referring to 5 weeks in row but more like 5 weeks throughout the year ! That’s good to hear. Because a lot of people say unlimited pto just makes it harder to actually request PTO.
I accrue 16.66 days per month of Pto
Yes hours! I just caught that! Days would be great but it’s hours lol!
26 holidays, unlimited sick (thought they will ask for more evidence from a doctor after too many days)
K6 must be in Europe
22 PTO days, 11 holidays
32 days
Unlimited PTO. Used to be 20 days. They enforce/highly encourage us to use at least 20 days of PTO to maintain work/life balance
Be thankful, I get 2 weeks vacation and 3 personal total, no roll forward
20 PTO, 14 holiday, additional 10 days of PTO possible based on hours billed goals semiannually.
40 days. Use them for holidays, sick, vacation all combined. No roll over or accrual. Like unlimited concept but with a technical ceiling.
Unlimited at Grant Thornton. I took a month off every year to travel, even as Associates, on top of the usual holidays and sick days(which I never need to use)
