I think what you’re trying to ask ‘HOW MANY TIMES CAN YOU BE A BOOMERANG?’ 🪃
Exactly Sir
As many times as you want, as far as you left on good terms.
However, you will eventually burn some bridges, whether you like or not. It will also become increasingly difficult to convince why you want to come back.
that is true -you have to have a reason why you left and why you want to come back. Be honest. Say what is true e.g. I left for better role matching my career interests and coming back and switching back for same - now my career interests are different. People and consulting companies understand that.
What?
Oh god. I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know

not specific to big 4, but my experience is that things change and if they really want to hire you, they find a way. And vice versa, if they do not want to hire you, they find a way also.
I worked with a partner at Deloitte that worked at 3 of the big4 and Deloitte in two separate instances
