How many years did it take before you could pay off all your med school loans? I'm starting to feel like it won't even be possible.

Hello, as a doctor who graduated 6 years ago, I can tell you that all the sacrifice is worth it, if it is possible to pay the loans, do not be discouraged, keep doing your part and achieve a good specialization.

Budget. Budget budget budget. Budget. It's possible, honest, but you have to take it seriously if you don't want the interest getting ahead of you.

Should i be paying down my mortgage fast, or aggressively investing instead? My salary is 200k, my mortgage is 1700 but I pay 3000. I’m in big law (second year) and not sure how long I can last in this job, so that is why i was trying to pay my home off as much as possible (it cost 350k, i have 315k remaining on the balance)

Genuinely curious. Do y’all think we’re in a bubble? Depending on the day I feel swayed by either argument. Meme stocks aside, equities seem incredibly overvalued, especially in tech and green energy/EVs and people are acting like nothing will change. However, with rates this low there is no where else to place money and there’s plenty of liquidity to go around. Are we in for inflation and a correction or the roaring 20s?

The housing market is not going to crash simply because interest rates are rising. This will on temper demand, and slow the price appreciation of homes. Yes some markets will see price declines, but this will not be a repeat of 07/08. Market fundamentals, and basic lending practices are much different than they were back then.

Calling all Loan Originators!!! I've been in the mortgage industry for 5 years now (3 years as a Realtor, 2 as a loan originator).

Last years rates, anyone could have done well. You didn't have to sell a mortgage, people just applied.

With the market where it is today, what are some of you doing to counter the "rates are too high" comment from buyers?

I've gone back to my SOI and have been getting some deals and referrals to keep me afloat but would love to hear some of your Best Practices.
