How is KPMG India ? Someone reached out for strategy team at Customer & Operations for financial services practice.
I was told they specifically cater to Indian clients.
Please guide me with the following -
What is the traveling expectation, how are the hours, do we need to work on weekends?
How much salary and designation I can expect.

Thanks in advance.

None. People break into it right out of college all the time.
Sorry, I should’ve been more specific. FP&A in big tech. I’m at a Big 4 firm right now on a team that’s extremely finance/modeling-heavy and I heard that’s a great resume builder for entry into FP&A. Just not a fan of the PA business model personally.
i’ve been looking to break in FP&A as well, But you will have to start entry level and based on the salaries Ive heard during intro interviews I’ve had I personally was not willing to take that pay cut (NYC)
Based on experience, not really. I know a former coworker that went from Senior in audit to FP&A Manager at a F500. It’s all about how you sell your skills and BS your way into the gig because lets face it, from audit or tax you don’t know a single thing about how FP&A works in the details.
I left PwC last year with a little over one year of experience for a FP&A II role. For me it was a $15k bump with $5k signing bonus. 6 months in I was bumped up another $5k and eligible for a $10k yearly bonus. I’d probably be making close to the same as a senior associate if I stayed at PwC one more year, but I enjoy the work much more and am on track to be promoted to an FP&A III soon. I work for a medium sized tech company with ~6,000 employees.
