Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. Anyone looked into an exit to Lordstown Motors, Canoo?

I work on a consulting team at a large software company. I’m a job hopper, around 2 years each at my first and second jobs and a little over a year at this job. I recently found out they’re shutting my team down. We’re not fired, but they’re transferring us to the core implementation team, which has a horrible reputation for malignancy, overworking, and isn’t at all what I was hired to do. How hard is it going to be to for me to find a new job? Should I just stay and try things out? What next?

I believe in the philosophy of learning from other's experiences, success stories, mistakes and regrets while keeping in mind that similar set of life events may unfold into totally different ways/outcomes for others as there are always too many variables in the equation called LIFE. People may arrive at different destinations at different times while being on the almost similar path.

I’ve worked mostly for financial services clients (banks, insurers, payments, etc.) but the exit ops I’ve come across seem a little underwhelming (mainly corp strat roles). Trying to get a better sense of what’s out there as someone who doesn’t have a specific content niche.

Thoughts on Mastercard as an exit from consulting?

What should one disclose/not disclose in an exit interview or should it be mum’s the word, don’t burn any bridges, any advice fellow fish?
